About Us

Perth Render Restorations provides an extensive range of specialised exterior rendering applications including sand and cement-based render, acrylic texture coating, painting and “Graffiato” decorative finishes. We also restore and paint exterior trim work items such as eaves, gutters and timber to give the exterior of your home a complete restoration; colour consultancy and colour matching are part of our service.

In addition to exterior render restoration and painting services, we can acquire any permits required for property access including foot path permits, scaffolding and EWP Boom hire. We also liaise with property managers and builders to achieve high quality outcomes within tight timeframes.

When employing Perth Render Restorations, you will enjoy a premium, seamless service. Traditionally, homeowners in Western Australia have had to engage and co-ordinate with multiple contractors to carry out an exterior render restoration: plasterers, renderers, texture coaters and painters. On the other hand, Perth Render Restorations is the only company in Perth licensed to carry out rendering, painting and texture coating works to provide a complete, one-stop shop service.

We really do have it covered. This is thanks to our exceptional attention to detail, a long-term mindset, professional project management, $10 million public liability and property protection insurances. Nothing is left to chance, and everything is taken care of.

A MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Hi, I’m Daniel Colgrove, the Managing Director of Perth Render Restorations. I wanted to introduce myself because, quite simply, the buck stops with me.

As managing director of the company, I am ultimately responsible for all employee and contractor actions, and the outcome of every single job

I am married to Bree and we have four young children. I enjoy mountain biking, motocross riding, running, yoga, spending time with my family and building a great business. I grew up in Perth’s low-income suburbs with a single mother and two siblings. My younger years were tough, but they instilled in me a drive to succeed and a strong work ethic.

Academically, I did well, and I was sent to a primary school for gifted children. My teenage years were a different story. I had planned to become a mechanical engineer but by the time I was 16 I decided school wasn’t for me. Fortunately, I had worked weekends and school holidays as a plasterer’s labourer and while it is one of the toughest jobs going, it gave me an excellent foundation on which to build a career and, eventually, a company.

I started my own business when I was 19 and built my own house at the same time. By the time I was 24, I was being contracted by some of Perth’s highest profile builders such as Webb & Brown-Neaves, Manor Homes and Gemmill Homes, the very first company to render their display homes. By this stage, I was working so hard that I was developing arm injuries, and to this day, this has limited the opportunities for me to work on the tools.

For all that, I still consider myself a tradesman first and foremost. When it comes to different types of rendering, I’ve pretty much done it all, and to the best of my ability. At the same time, I’ve seen first-hand the best and the worst of renderers, and how corners are cut. This has just strengthened my resolve to provide a superior service that takes no short cuts and delivers a perfect, long- term solution.

My goal is for Perth Render Restorations to remain a family-owned and run business for many decades and possibly generations to come. Businesses that last for generations must have solid foundations. In the case of our company, those foundations consist of a reputation for high quality work, customer satisfaction and a happy and extremely competent team. All of these things are not only the basis of a successful company. More importantly, they’re of significant benefit to you as one of our valued clients.

We are here to serve you and we are humbled to do so. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes, and your customer experience. You have my word that I will do everything I can to make your association with my team a positive one – that includes complete satisfaction with the work we do. If at any time you feel the need to speak with me directly, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
